World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (WEKAF)

Formed in 1989 in Cebu, Philippines to promote the Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) via a sporting version of eskrima throughout the world.

Seni Show Eskrima Open Championships

This tournament will run for the very first time on 26 April 2008 at the Seni Show to be held in Excel, London. Competitors from various systems can compete in Sayaw (Forms), Single and double stick sparring in WEKAF-format. KOMBATA, a Limited Armour competition will be held before the end of the entire event.

Doce Pares tournaments

Doce Pares competitions follow the same rules as WEKAF plus the additional techniques such as foot sweeping and thrusting with the butt of the stick (punyo). Only Doce Pares members can take part in the competitions.

British Low Armour

This consists of 2 x 1.5 minute rounds of full-contact stickfighting with only helmet, gloves and groin box for protection. This is judged by a panel of 3 for striking, blocking and evasion. A disarm in the round means you lose that round and 2 disarms is a technical knockout.

Arnis Kali Eskrima Association (AKEA)

Formed in Italy, it is a point-system version of eskrima where one has to have a clear powerful hit on either the head or shin only. Players wear full WEKAF gear and additional shinguards for protection.
